1. Professional knowledge

To become a civil electrical repairman, a mechanic must have specialized knowledge about the following:

• - Structure, operating principle of alternating current and direct current generators with a capacity of under 10 KVA.
• - Structure, specifications and working principles of three-phase motors.
• - Know the structure and operation of civil electrical equipment
• - Understand the operating principles of the transformer
• - Knowledge of control and warning devices
• - Operation principle and procedure of civil electrical system installation
• - Knowledge of labor safety

2. Occupational skills

Apart from knowledge, civilian electrician must also have the following practical skills:

• - Installation and maintenance of generators
• - Installation and operation of three-phase asynchronous motors
• - Installation and repair of electrical appliances
• - Installation and maintenance of transformers
• - Installation, maintenance of control and warning equipment
• - Installation and repair of electrical systems
• - Using measuring tools
• - Carry out additional jobs
• - Using labor safety devices.

Note that the above skills are the main headings, with each of these items covering different related tasks.

3. Working attitude
