Steps to becoming an electrical engineer:
Get a bachelor's degree or higher
The entry level education for electrical engineers is a 4-year bachelor's degree, accredited by ABET - Accreditation Council for Engineering and Technology. Courses at this level often include circuit theory, digital system design and differential equations. Electrical engineering programs will include classes, laboratories or field research.
