Business Investment and Innovation Visa (permanent) (class 888)
With this visa, you can
-Return to Australia permanently
-Work and study in Australia
-Enroll in Australia's public health care program, Medicare

-If eligible to apply for Australian citizenship
- New arrivals may have to wait before they can access some Australian Government payments and benefits.
How long can you stay
This is a permanent visa. It allows you to stay in Australia permanently.
For citizen purposes, your permanent residence begins on:
-We issue a visa, if you are in Australia
-First, you enter Australia with this visa, if you are outside Australia when we issue this visa
Including the whole family
You can include members of the family unit in your application when you apply. You can also add kids to your app anytime before we decide on your app.
Family members who apply for a visa must meet our health and character requirements.
Those who remember families not coming to Australia may also have to meet our health and character requirements.
Price
The visa costs 2,590 AUD for the principal applicant.
There is also a fee for each family member who applies for a visa to you.
You may have to pay an extra fee for any applicants who are 18 or older, who have less than functional English. This fee is the second installment fee. Pay only when we ask you. We will refund the fee if we do not issue you a visa.
The second installment is AUD 4,890.
You only need to pay it to family members who didn't pay the second installment fee for their (Temporary) Investment and Business Innovation visas.
You may also have to pay other costs for health checks, police certificates and biometrics.

Processing Time
Your application may take longer to process if:
-You didn't enter it correctly
-You do not include all the documents we need or we need more information from you

We cannot process your application if you do not pay the visa application fee. We will notify you if this is the case and if necessary return your application.
Your obligation
You and your family members must obey all Australian laws.
If you are outside Australia when we issue your visa:
-You and your family members must enter Australia on a certain date (we'll let you know when)
-Any family member on your application may not be able to get married or enter into an actual relationship before they enter Australia (we will let you know if this is the case)
Travel
Travel to and from Australia for 5 years
You can travel to and from Australia as many times as you want within 5 years from the date we issue this visa. This is as long as the tourist facility on this visa is still valid.
If you want to travel after the original 5-year tourism facility:
-You will need to apply for and be granted permanent residence (RRV) so that you can re-enter Australia as a permanent resident.
-You may also want to consider Australian citizenship. If you become an Australian citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Australia. With this visa, you can
-Implement business and investment activities in Australia
- Stay in Australia for 4 years and 3 months
- Bring eligible members of your family unit with you
-File of Investment in Business Innovation (Permanent) visa (Permanent) (class 888) flow of investors if certain requirements are met
How long can you stay
This is a temporary visa. You can stay in Australia for up to 4 years and 3 months. If you apply before July 1, 2015, you can stay up to 4 years.
Visas are issued with many items. You may leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you wish while the visa is valid.
The visa is valid from the date we issue it.
Stay longer
This is a temporary visa. You must apply for a new visa if you want to stay longer.
