Kookaburra Worm Farms
Kookaburra Worm Farms is a successful small business specialising in the growing and distribution of worms around Australia for over 18 years. The farm is located in the Gin Gin area.
We are looking to fill a key role focusing on labour work within our indoor worm growing system.
This positions will report to the Supervisor and be directly responsible for:
- Manually extracting worms
- Feeding worms manually
- Ensuring the system is appropriately watered and maintained
- Setting worm eggs
- Producing the maximum number of worms on a weekly basis
- Being efficient and effective in the operation of the worm system
- Producing composted worm food
- Packing worms when required
To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria as outlined below.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Be punctual
- Have above average listening and communication abilities
- Team player
