Stock Hand
Virginia Farm Produce (Kangaringa Station)–South Australia
- Based 50km North East of Keith, South Australia, Our property, Kangaringa Station is now looking for a Livestock Farm Hand to join the team.
- The Livestock Farm Hand performs the day-to-day tasks required to maintain the property such as:
- Water-runs
- Fencing
- General property and plant maintenance
- Assisting with lamb marking, crutching and shearing
- Experience with Cattle and Sheep
The successful applicant will be able to:
- demonstrate experience in a similar role
- work independently
- follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned
- demonstrate good communication and time management skills
- be self-motivated and reliable
- demonstrate a keen interest in sheep, cattle and general farm operations.
- commit to safe work practices and the highest animal welfare standards
- enjoy living in a remote location.
- This position requires the applicant to have long -term working rights in Australia and hold a drivers licence. Owning your own car is required. Accommodation is available.
