We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team on a full time basis to drive and deliver success.
Key responsibilities:
Drive sales
Provide exceptional customer service
Meet and exceed company targets
Assist with daily store operations and housekeeping
Establish and work as part of a collaborative team environment
Efficiently and effectively handle customer service inquiries
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous retail sales experience
Experience working with furniture and bedding advantageous but not necessary
Experience working with sales targets
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Good computer literacy
High standards of in-store presentation
Enjoy working in a team environment
Must be available to work most weekends

Position: Part time Head Barista
About the Role…
The Head Barista is accountable to the Hospitality Services Manager for the efficient and effective operational management of Café Otto and has line responsibility for all employees and volunteers working in the Café Otto.
The Head Barista provides professional leadership to Café Otto and is expected to have a current knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and standards to ensure the availability of a safe, high quality service.
The Head Barista is a hands on role that is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and high quality preparation of all food and beverages provided by the Café with a focus on food safety, quality and professional and friendly customer service. The Head Barista has a key role in ensuring that safe food handling practices, record keeping, cleaning and sanitisation, ordering goods and stock control are completed to a high standard. All duties need to be performed in compliance with Food Safety Legislation and the Food Safety Plan and the hospital policies.
This role is a Permanent Part-time position working 30 hours per week over a 5 day roster (Monday to Friday).
About you…
You are a highly passionate and driven person seeking a role where your interest in food safety and delivery is appreciated. You will possess current knowledge of relevant industry guidelines and health standards and have relevant experience in the hospitality field. You show drive, energy and initiative. You have a positive attitude to work and ability to work as part of an effective team.
You will have proven recent experience in a similar role and an exceptional understanding of up-to-date food handling, food safety and food hygiene standards.

Essential skills & competencies:
Has recent experience in supervising staff
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to act in a professional and confident manner
Act as a change agent and motivate and drive staff
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently
Proficient use of basic information technology, including email and the internet
Specialty coffee knowledge is essential
