Leading Orchard/ Farm Hand – FULL TIME
Lava Valley Produce - Ban Ban Springs QLD
We are looking for an experienced, motivated & enthusiastic person to join our team – Family farming business.
Role Responsibilities include:
General Orchard Duties as required
General Farm Duties as required
Tractor Operation
Hand Tool Operation
Weed Spraying
Irrigation
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience as a farm hand
Competence in operating farm machinery
Manual Driver’s license
Experience with chemicals & irrigation
Ability to perform in a team environment and maintain high rates of repetitive manual activities
Be reliable and punctual
Eye for detail
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised and with people as a part of a team
Knowledge of key equipment practices
An open mind and willingness to learn new methods
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the best practice WH&S
Commencement hourly rate : subject to experience
