Multikraft Probiotics is a well-established growing agricultural company who through innovation and experience has developed a range of probiotic products and services that provide cost-effective, sustainable and financially viable integrated solutions for the benefit of the agricultural, animal, waste treatment industries.
A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced Farm Hand to join our team in the Bundaberg region. This position would suit an “all-rounder” who enjoys a variety of responsibility that would include, small cropping, tree crop management, general maintenance and assist with microbial production. Specific duties will include:
- General agricultural tasks– planting, weeding, picking, packing, pruning, irrigating etc.
- Fertigation, pest and disease management
- General building and equipment maintenance and repair
- Pick-up and delivery driving when required
You will be a reliable self-starter with 3+ years’ experience with similar roles, with specific experience in tree cropping (Mangoes, Macadamia preferred). You will have strong record keeping skills and experience in irrigation/fertigation and the safe operation of farm equipment.
It would be advantageous if you hold a forklift or HR/MR truck licence and possess some trade skills in mechanical, welding, plumbing or building areas. Organic farming experience would be very well regarded.
This is a permanent, full time, hands on, Monday to Friday role that would suit a resident of the area looking for an ongoing career within a happy organised team. Multikraft is a growing company and the successful candidate will be someone with a can do attitude, willing to learn, who will grow with the company.
