Farm Manager / Southern Cross Farms
Farm Manager – Murtho (Paringa), South Australia
Reporting to the General Manager – responsibilities include:
- Plan, implement and manage the business and operational aspects of an operating a 70ha Citrus and Almond property.
- Ensure the profitable and effective operation and functioning of farm operations.
- Provide reports on operational plans, crop quality and compliance.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, HR policies, food safety and environmental objectives.
- Implementation of direction, strategy, and goals.
- Ensuring farm operations comply with all aspects of Global GAP and other relevant quality assurance programs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Diploma of Horticulture is desirable but not essential.
Significant practical experience with horticultural production including prior management experience is required, preferably in orchard operations with a particular focus on both Citrus and Almonds.
