Job
We grow delicious Australian Black tiger prawns - Join our Farming and Harvest operations team for an IMMEDIATE START
These short-term seasonal positions (casual) will be based from our largest prawn farm and production facility located in Proserpine.
Working in conjunction with our passionate, hard working team, your mission should you choose to accept it, will be playing a vital role to support the business in harvesting high quality, healthy and sustainable prawns out of our ponds.
You will enjoy working in an outdoor environment in these hands on roles. We have several different roles available that support our farming and harvest operations; either purposefully extracting our product from our ponds (in and out of the water) through safe, effective harvest operational activities, or assembling and maintaining our paddleweels on the Aeration Project for optimal prawn health.
You will contribute in a positive and proactive manner, whilst working in accordance with Tassal’s operating procedures and Safety vision.
You will have had experience working in a farming environment, previously or hands on physical labouring work; with the ability to get to site (with a manual drivers licence) each shift.
This working envionrment will be fast paced and is not for the faint hearted or somebody who wants to sit in a machine all day - we will be working together, as a team for an effective and productive season.
