Position: Carpenter Helper (2)
Salary: $25 hourly for 40 hrs/w
Full Time, Permanent
Requirements:
- Education: No Education required
- Experience: No experience required, on job training will be provided.
- Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction sites.
- Assist carpenter in construction activities.
- Assist carpenter to secure/unsecure special attachments to equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
- Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.
- Level surface to fine grade specifications.
- Assist in demolishing wooden structures using prying bars and other tools and sort the surface area.
- Remove rubble and other debris at work sites.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in carpentry.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as direct.
- Clean up and finish the wooden joints using sandpaper.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
