Position: Construction Worker
Other Information
- Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm, 40 hours per week
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Vacation: Two weeks paid, one week closed over Christmas
- Pay: $ Highly competitive based on experience
- Location: Kitsilano, Point Grey, West Van, Kerrisdale, Southlands OR Whistler!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Construction of retaining walls, paving, pathways, garden beds, and hardscapes, concrete work, gates, decks, fences and water features.
- Grading, drainage, planting of trees, shrubs, container stock, installing lawn and installing irrigation
- General labour, site clean-up, dig trenches, unloading and moving building materials
- Mobile equipment operation (skid steers, mini excavators)
Selection Criteria
- Fit, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture or a construction trade
- Good references. Two required and will be checked from last two roles
- Comfortable in a physically demanding role and happy to work outside year round
