Position: Carpentry and Concrete Casting + Finishing
Salary: $25 - $28 depending on experience. Paid bi-weekly
(4 weeks trial period at $25/hr)
Type: Full-time
Job requirements:
- Must have experience with a table saw and wood working equipment.
- Knowledge of GFRC is an asset, but we will train.
- Must be able to work independently and under supervision.
- Must have working experience with power tools.
- Must be able to do basic math and fractions.
- Must be hardworking, physically fit and able to lift 50 kg.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
o May be required to do concrete finishing involving patching, sanding and grinding bevels. o Will be required to do basic carpentry. IE. cut some wood on a chop saw/table saw. Nail gun together wooden forms. o Depending on the production schedule, may be asked to help with installations of concrete mantels and tiles. No previous experience with installing stonework or tiles is required. We will train. o Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license. o Must have an excellent work ethic and attitude. o Must be able to work independently. o Occasionally, odd jobs may be required.
