Position: Construction Framer
Salary: $25-$32 hourly
Full Time, Permanent
Essential functions/major responsibilities of a Framer are:
- Accurately measure, cut and shape lumber, wood and other building materials.
- Attach building materials using screws, nuts and bolts.
- Perform repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
- Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be construction.
- Examine building materials to identify any defects.
- Perform cleanups of job sites by clearing away carpentry debris and waste.
- Construct wooden concrete forms to aid the construction team in erecting various concrete structures.
- Make adjustments as needed to scaffolding, following safety protocol.
- Identify job site hazards and report them to the Foreman.
To be eligible for this position you must possess the following:
- Minimum two years exterior framing experience Valid drivers license.
- Positive attitude.
- Impeccable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work alone and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
