Position: Construction Installation Worker | Production Worker
Salary: $17-$23 hourly for 40 hrs/w
Full Time, Permanent
Daily activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Read layout drawings and install prefabricated locker components as per specifications
- Ability to lead and coordinate with installation team regarding daily objectives and work to be completed.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various construction site personnel
- Problem solving and collaborating with others to resolves issues as they arise
- Operating hand tools such as drills, wrenches, and other commonly used construction related tools
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products as required
- Clean site area before, during, and at shift end
- Expedite repairs to equipment, working with production team as necessary
- Set-up, Operate, and monitor production equipment to ensure efficiency
- Keep daily records of work completed and manufacturing production
- Work with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Complete accurate reports and labeling of finished goods and completed production
- Assist in training colleagues as needed by teaching safe operating procedures
- Perform daily maintenance and upkeep duties
- Inspect and maintain quality of products being installed or produced based on established specifications
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Schematics
- Able to read measuring tape and caliper
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills essential
- Construction related experience an asset
- Capable of carrying up to 50 lbs
- Manufacturing Experience an asset
- Regular, reliable, dependable attendance
