Position: Construction Worker/Water proofers/Concrete Repair
Salary: $21.00 - $28.00 Hourly
Full-Time Permanent
Job requirement
- Minimum Education: High School
- Language: English
- Must have drivers license class 5
Our typical work tasks include:
- concrete repair
- demolition
- asphalt pavement work
- some landscaping type work such as brick paver resets, wall building
- drainage / pipe work
- epoxy and urethane coating applications
- waterproofing
- loading and unloading work trucks
Must haves:
- Physically able to work. Do not apply should you have back issues, muscle issues, joint damage or other such issues that become aggravated from physical work and repetitive work including standing on feet all day.
- Provide your own clothing and work boots. Safety equipment is provided by the company.
- Have a class 5 license or better with a reasonable drivers record. Driver abstract is required upon hiring.
- Comfortable driving a truck and towing a small trailer.
- Available to work Vancouver - Chilliwack. Most common start point is Aldergrove (no bus service).
- Able to listen and take directions in English. Work with those directions, sometimes independently. Assume responsibility for tasks taken.
