Position: Construction Labourer
- Full time, Permanent
Experience:
- general construction labour: 2 years (Preferred)
Duties and responsibilities
- Work includes a wide variety of work that are performed typically by carpenters, bricklayers, demolition experts, drywallers, cement finishers, and roofers.
- Assist construction site workers in erecting structures and demolition.
- Unload and load construction materials.
- Pickup and deliver materials
- Remove debris and site cleanup.
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers.
- General labour
- Various other duties as required or directed by supervisors
Qualifications
- Full Class 5 Drivers License
- Clean Driving record
- Proven ability to operate larger vehicles safely
- Construction knowledge (2-3 years)
- Securing loads on vehicles
- Purchase construction material
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Ability to stay motivated and on task with minimal supervision
- Positive work attitude
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift/move weights of 50+lbs on a regular basis.
